It’s a Monday night… what do I feel like eating?? I had a craving for wings, but it was not wings night, so I decided on Me n Eds Pizza Parlor. Marv and I have also been curious to try out this place ever since the first time we visited Duartes place, now’s our chance to give it a try! 🙂

Before entering, we had imagined this place to be more of a ‘mom and pop’ kind of pizza place…where an older italian man would come take your order on a paper notepad and bake your pizza upon order so we were a bit surprised when we were completely wrong!
We were standing at the front door thinking that we were supposed to wait to be seated, but luckily I turned around and saw a board in a small corner telling us to seat ourselves lol.
We noticed an odd similarity to Boston Pizza. Check out the shakers we received!
We decided to order 2 pizzas and take whatevers left over for lunch the next day.
We started off with a large Pepperoni Pizza.
This was on special for the day. There was a lot of pepperoni put onto this pizza. I found this to be a bit too oily.
For our second pizza, we went with the medium Perogy Pizza.
It had roasted potatoes, bacon, onions, cheddar cheese and green onions on a garlic herb sauce with sour cream on the side. This was hands down our favourite between the 2.
I found it to have just enough of each topping to balance it out. I love perogy pizzas!
We both agreed that the crust here was a bit too crispy. If you close your eyes and bite it, you’ll think you’re eating crackers.
Overall, the pizza here is good if you enjoy thin, crispy crusts. Our waiter was very efficient, friendly and observant. He was quick on our drink refills without being asked. We also noticed a lot of people coming in and out of the restaurant. They had quite a few orders for take-out while we were there, so our order took a bit longer to get to our table.
Annnd, how did we do at the end of the night?! Here’s what was left after we were done eating! 🙂

Mmmm……Perogy Pizza!!!!!!! I gotta try that!!!!
hehee I like the perogy pizza at Boston Pizza much better! Now I’m sorta craving it.. mmm!
i love this place. crust is a bit crunchy, but you’re eating less flour – so it’s all good!
Hey, check out http://vancouver.bc.hotwings.ca/ for daily deals on wings, though Marv might be partial to his Fogg n Sudds. The Paddlewheeler in New Westminster also has $4.95/lb wings on Mondays and Wednesdays (I recommend the cajun dry rub).
Still haven’t gone to Me n Ed’s though there are several (well, five) locations across the Lower Mainland. I hear from other folks that it’s good too =) How did the pizzas stand up as leftovers?
Ooo nice! We’re always up for trying out different places! 🙂 Actually…I’m always up for trying to change his mind on set places that he enjoys lol 🙂
As for leftovers, I didn’t enjoy it too much, but then again, I wasn’t a fan of the thin crispy crust to begin with. My all-time favourite has still got to be the super greasy pan crust from pizza hut lol!
