Ahh, this is the real reason we came downtown. I’ve been craving ramen for awhile now so after our visit to Michi’s, Marv decided to move the car into an all day parking lot and we ventured off to Sanpachi Ramen for lunch. This time it was open when we got there 🙂
Sanpachi Ramen
770 Bute Street, Vancouver BC
Tel#: (604) 609-9938
We arrived just before 12:30 and the place was already busy! I guess everyone else was waiting for the place to open at noon too lol!
The table is already equipped with toothpicks! I thought that was a nice touch. Marv decided to try the Shio Ramen. He found the broth to be very light and fresh.
I decided to go with the signature Miso Ramen.
Well, I thought the broth was very flavourful. The noodles were nice and chewy. Although this dish was good, I think I would prefer to head over to Kintaro for ramen….unless of course there’s a huge wait..then maybe I’ll settle for Sanpachi. The tables were very close together, I again felt like I was dining with the table beside us and partially the table behind me since I kept feeling nudges as people walked by.

oo I will check this place out if Kintaro is busy.
I dont recommend the ramen place next to Mcdonalds on Thurslow(not sure but its near sportsmart/keg).
Gotta agree on the broth! So delicious!
Yeah! 🙂 I didn’t realize you are the writer behind foodology! 🙂 I’ve also been reading up on your site too about the 30 day diet, I’m impressed you’ve been staying on track! I think I would’ve strayed off already lol! 🙂
