Red Robin

Yay, it’s Marvs birthday!! Happy Birthday Hun!  =)  We both ended up taking a day off work and started off the day with just sleeping in!  It was actually quite nice to start off the work week by going in on Monday and then having the Tuesday off!  It made the Monday blues disappear rather quickly as it made it feel like a Friday! 🙂  When we decided to stop being lazy, we ended up heading over to Red Robins for lunch to claim his free burger!

If you haven’t already, you can sign up to get your own free burger on your birthday by heading over to this link.

Marv decided to get the Banzai Burger. This comes with a grilled pineapple.  I actually don’t like cooked pineapples, but uncooked pineapples is my current craving!

It’s quite a big burger, the teriyaki sauce was plentiful, it ended up being quite messy to eat.  Actually, the REAL reason Marv decided to order this burger was because on his birthday last  year, no one else had taken him out for his birthday  🙁  So, I don’t believe anyone should be alone especially on their birthday, so I took him out for dinner and we ended up at Red Robins where he ordered the Banzai burger!   So now, we’re making it a tradition to end up at Red Robins to relive our beginning moments together! 🙂

Since I’ve been eating burgers a lot lately, I decided to go with the Clucks and Fries! These were your normal chicken tenders.  I ended up getting a side of ranch dip as well.  I’ll pretty much eat anything with ranch dip!

Towards the end of our meal, our waitress came by to offer us a birthday sundae.  This was a nice end to the meal as it was not a huge portion and it was enough to satisfy the both of us.  Alright…onwards to celebrate at his birthday dinner!! =)

Happy belated birthday Marv! Sadly Red Robins took away my favourite menu item a few years ago – Cajun blackened chicken strips. They were kind of unappetizing-looking because of the colour but man were they ever tasty.
