Marble Slab Creamery

It was a sunny Saturday, and after stopping at Fraser Park for lunch, we went down to Marble Slab for some ice cream!  Actually, the real reason we were in this plaza was to pick up some fruit at Kin’s Market, so stopping for ice cream was just a bonus! =)

I love coming to Marble Slab!  I like looking at each flavour, and choosing what ‘mixin’ I want to go with it.  Choices choices, that’s what I like about it.  Upon walking into Marble Slab, it just feels and smells  like an ice cream parlour.  It was fairly quiet here today, maybe cause it was a bit chilly outside.

Doesn’t everyone love waffle cones?  I love waffle cones/bowls.  I like how there are many choices, dark chocolate, vanilla, regular, sprinkles, no sprinkles…ahh so many choices! =)

There’s so much candy to choose from for your mixin as well.  I think kids will have a great time choosing what they want here!  =)  The girl behind the counter was very curious as to why we were taking photos lol!  For personal use.. =)

Since there are lots to choose from and you’re unsure of what flavour you would like, they offer you samples to help make your decision HARDER, since each flavour is quite yummy! =)

Marv of course went with the Rocky Road. He loves anything with marshmallows!   They give you quite a generous heaping of ice cream!  I like watching them fold together all the toppings.

Well, I decided to go with the Lemon Custard with Reese’s Pieces.  Lol, randomly chose reese’s pieces.  I don’t even normally like them, but I thought it might go well with the lemon custard 🙂   This turned out to be quite sweet and the ice cream was very soft/melted quickly.  I had to eat this as fast as I could without getting brain freeze! 🙂

Ah! That’s where the fish store that I was raving about is! Right near Kin’s and M&M Meat Shops!
Yes, everyone SHOULD love waffle cones. There is nothing better than an edible food container. Having the misfortune of being somewhat lactose intolerant, I generally have to stick to sorbets (although it’s not too much to complain about because they’re yummy), so I am jealous of your selections =)

lol! I read your post on the fish store too! I think we walked by, but didn’t go in cause we got distracted by Marble Slab…okay, maybe I got distracted lol!

Marv is also a bit lactose intolerant, but he ate it anyways lol! I ended up getting an email the next day about new March flavours!! I should’ve waited another week before going! I could’ve had a strawberry cheesecake flavoured one! =(
