Cheesecake Factory

After we left the outlets in Tulalip, we made our way to downtown Seattle =)  Our first stop was Cheesecake Factory for lunch!  Marv ‘n I were pretty hungry by the time we arrived, so we quickly made a bee-line to the restaurant lol! Luckily for us, Vince had parked across the street, so it wasn’t much of a trek to get there.

Cheesecake Factory
700 Pike St, Seattle WA
Tel#:  (206) 652-5400

Does this place always have a line?!  We arrived shortly after 4 and the place was still packed!  Luckily it was only the 2 of us, so we were able to snag a table right away =)

It took us awhile to decide what to eat for lunch as there were too many choices!

Mmm, I love chocolate bread!!   Alright, I must’ve ate the entire half…lol so we had to get another serviing of it! =)

We decided to start off with the French Country Salad.  This came by recommendation of Marvs sister =)   Although our server mentioned that the portions were enormous, I didn’t expect the salad to be quite to big!

This was mixed greens, grilled asparagus, fresh beets, goat cheese, candied pecans with a vinaigrette dressing.  It was quite an unique combination of beets and pecans.  The asparagus was nicely grilled and full of flavour.

Marv went with the Farfalle with Chicken and Roasted Garlic.

This is their bow-tie pasta, chicken, mushrooms,  tomato, pancetta, peas, and carmelized onions in a roasted garlic-parmesan cream sauce.  Whew what a mouthful!  This was quite hearty and indeed very creamy.   The pieces of chicken were quite big, Marv got full quickly after just a few bites! =)

I decided to get the Double Cheese Crunch Burger.

This had American and cheddar cheese, crunchy potato crisps, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, pickles and their ‘secret sauce’  lol!  Alright, cheese and potato crisps is what sold me on this burger!  It’s like they should just name the burger after me! =D  The potato crisps reminded me of hickory sticks, I found it to be a bit too messy to eat altogether(actually all the potato crisps fell out of the burger as I attempted to put the bun on top), so I had to eat it separately.  It was quite juicy, I also liked how the fries were put into a small tin cup.  Marv ‘n I switched plates since he was unable to eat anymore of his cream based pasta :p  *sniffles*  my burger!! >_<

How many times have you vowed to get a slice of cheesecake here, but ended up being way too full after your meal to order one??  I know I’m guilty of that pretty much every single time I visit lol!  But this time, we decided to be troopers and ordered a slice of the Chocolate Coconut Cream Cheesecake.

We were quite happy with our flavour choice!  This was a lot lighter, and didn’t have a heavy cheesecake taste.  This worked out well since Marv isn’t a fan of cheesecake, so he enjoyed this.  There was a nice balance of coconut and cream cheese.  The chocolate macaroon crust was delicious!   Overall, we both enjoyed our meal here(it might’ve been because we were quite hungry!), Marv even brought home a few slices of cheesecake for his family! =)

Haha yeah, the salad was pretty good,(but I don’t like beets)
They have tons of cheesecake flavours! I think it covered up 1 side of the menu page, or was it 2? I can’t really remember, hopefully I’ll be able to check it out again in another month-ish when we’re in vegas! =) I’m a bit boring and would prefer the original cheesecake, just plain will do for me =)

Cheesecake Factory is awesome with their huge portions, good food, and menu selection. I love their Luau Salad. I can’t remember, did you try their guacamole before? Made-to-order and freshly fried tortilla chips…yum!
