The last time Colleen and Rose ate here Click here to read about their first visit. I had to leave to meet up with my friends, so this time around I made sure I got a chance to sit and enjoy myself with such quick action meals shooting put from the kitchen. lol
As usual we had to order the Steamed Pork Dumplings here, can’t visit here without trying this out, it is pretty yummy.
This is the reason I came here. Tea Smoked Duck. I ate this all by myself. Its hard for me to explain but ever since I ate this dish years ago I have been hooked on it. The smoked tea flavour is soo yummy and the aroma from it is just my kind of thing to eat. Very fragrant is how I can explain it I guess…
Pickled Cabbage and Shredded Pork with handmade noodles that were once vermicelli in soup, I asked the lady if we could have this switched from vermicelli to house made noodles instead. She had a hard time explaining to me that the price would be different but I told her that it didn’t matter because I don’t like vermicelli. haaha
Out next was the Deep Fried Shredded Daikon Pancakes. Flaky and very light. This is one of Colleen’s dish to order here.
Up next are the Szechuan Style Beef Tendons. This dish I had to eat all by myself, Colleen would have none of it. It’s so good though. This was only $5 and the portion was big. Not big big but bigger than what you would normally get from any dim sum place in the morning. I enjoyed it and the tendons were very soft and the sauce was flavourful. Rice with the sauce would’ve been great!
Speaking of rice, how can we go and not order their fried rice. We went with the Szechuan Style Seafood Fried Rice in Wok. I couldn’t believe how aromatic this rice was. Really!
Overall, the meal came out just as quickly as their first visit here. Service here is quite prompt and attentive. Our tea cups were refilled often without us having to flag anyone over. I enjoyed our dining experience here and would come back for another visit. =]
