We couldn’t decide what we wanted to eat, and I had wanted Denny’s lol! Okay, breakfast food makes me happy :p But I decided not to make Marv suffer today, so we chose Cactus Club since it was on my way home from work =) I actually like this location because there’s ample parking, waitresses are friendly and I just enjoy the overall feel to it. Was this the location that won an award for their washrooms??

Once we arrived, the place was already packed! We were lucky enough to snag the last booth in the lounge, the dining area was already full! This was quite early on a friday afternoon, I guess everyone got off work early lol! =)
Alright, we didn’t get dessert to start, but we did order this at the very end. Currently in the month of April, if you order the Peanut Butter Crunch Bar dessert, the proceeds will go towards making a wish of a young girl who has been in and out of the hospital come true. Grace’s wish is to head to Hawaii with her family, so we decided to add to their fund. You even get a candle on it! The peanut butter bar was crunchy and sweet. I enjoyed the scoop of vanilla ice cream with tiny chocolate covered peanut crunch balls the most. I think they should have a dessert item with only the ice cream and tiny balls. =)
Oddly enough, Marv decided to order the Halibut Soft Tacos. This consisted of seared cajun halibut, chipotle aioli, shredded green cabbage and salsa fresca. This was not a lot of filling in each taco. The halibut came in pieces, we would’ve preferred it better had it been 1 long slice of halibut in each taco. This was quite difficult to eat as all the sauce would drip out the other end, definitely would have to re-wrap these burrito-style in order to not miss out on the filling lol!
And I decided to go with The Burger. This had aged cheddar, cured bacon, sauteed mushrooms and red pepper relish. This was a big burger! I couldn’t even take a bite out of it properly, even after removing the toppings that I didn’t want! I really enjoy their red pepper relish, it goes great with this burger. I’ve always found their burger/sandwich choices to be pretty spot on.
Overall, we enjoyed this dining experience. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. It was also a neat experience sitting in the lounge watching all the patrons hit on the waitresses. It was a great conversation piece lol! =)

The Burger looks good. I am sure both Nanzaro and Arkensen would love it. How much is that?
Hey Ben!
Hmm I can’t really remember, but I think the burger was about $14ish? Kinda pricey, but it was pretty good I also really like their JD bbq burger, it gets quite messy though, so ask for extra napkins lol! =)
Oh … $14 is too expensive for our boys. LOL! I think we’ll continue to clip McDonalds Two Can Dine coupons.
