Yay! I was able to coerce Marv to have breakfast at Denny’s! =) This was quite a feat, since he is usually unwilling to do so, and will put up a good fight, until he realizes there are other things on the menu to order besides the usual breakfast meals.

It ended up being quite busy on a weekday morning, I find their parking lot to be quite small. You may also park on the side streets once the lot is full. I don’t understand why Subway needs all the reserved spots anyways, doesn’t the majority of people take their sandwiches to go??
Anyways, we were greeted and seated promptly bey the window. What a nice view of the…traffic. =) It was quite a busy morning on the roads as well. It was interesting sitting, relaxing and enjoying my meal, while watching all the road rage going on outside. Quite entertaining!
And of course, I had to order coffee to go with my meal =)
Marv ordered the Super Bird for his meal. It’s thinly sliced turkey breast, with bacon strips, melted swiss cheese and tomato on toasted sourdough. Thinly sliced was not a joke. The sandwich was very thin, did not have a lot of meat. The picture looked a lot better than the actual sandwich. For his side, he went with onion rings. These were nicely crisp, and did not get soggy.
The All American Slam is the breakfast choice I went with. This had scrambled eggs topped with cheddar cheese, a heaping helping of hashbrowns, sausage, bacon(I opted for all sausage instead) and toast! This is average, but it sure does its job for a breakfast fix. The hashbrowns were nicely crisp, and the eggs weren’t rubbery. The sausage was a bit oily.
We also noticed they are pomoting bacon. What really caught our eye was the Maple Bacon Sundae?! We weren’t feeling adventurous enough to try this one out, but if you do, let us know how it is! =)
