Restaurant is now closed

It’s Sunday morning and Meryl has invited Marv ‘n I out for dim sum!  We weren’t really sure where to go, so Marv ‘n I decided to take Meryl to Delicious Cuisine.  We’ve been here before and didn’t blog about it, so we thought this would be a great time to do so! =)

Ever since I’ve had my first taste of a Baked BBQ Pork Bun from Gala Seafood Restaurant(now closed), I always have to order this everytime I see it offered at dim sum!

This came out quite crispy, yet fluffy and piping hot!  I enjoyed this dish very much, almost to the point where I wanted to steal Marvs bun!  Except he already gobbled it down before I could take it lol! =)

Next came the Shrimp Rice Roll shown below on the left.  This was quite tasty as there was spinach with the shrimp.

I’m not a fan of the shrimp rice roll, so I went with the Beef Rice Roll. Haha, gotta have my beef!  I normally like to have my rice roll drenched in sweet soy sauce, but this one only had a small amount.

Next came the Clams in Black Bean Sauce. This dish was delicious and fresh, but there was not enough clams hehe 🙂

Of course we also had to get the Steamed BBQ Pork Bun for Marv!  =)  Luckily I was able to snap a photo before he grabbed one this time lol!  It was fluffy and the filling was sweet.  The bun was not overly soggy.

Next came the classics.  Steamed Prawn Dumpling and the Steamed Pork and Shrimp. There was a lot of prawn inside each dumpling.  The wrapper was a bit gummy.

Another of Marvs favourite, Steamed Beef Ball. This was soft, but okay.   The next dish to arrive was the Deep Fried Spicy Squid. This was served nicely crisp on the outside and soft/chewy on the inside.  It was quite spicy as you keep eating this dish.  I had to drink a lot of tea!  lol

Last but not least is the Sticky Rice Chinese Sausage. This is the dish that Marv ‘n I fight over!  The first time we had this dish, we kept trying to out eat the other!  Lol, it’s very fragrant and it’s just very tasty!  I would highly recommend this dish if you find yourself at this restaurant!   =)

Overall, food here is pretty solid, we didn’t have to wait too long for a table and service is good.  We didn’t have to wait very long for our tea to be refilled =)
