Sushiholic… I pass by this place almost daily and haven’t stepped foot into it. I think it’s because this restaurant feels out of place, with it being in a residential area, also it might be because I’ve watched other restaurants open up and close in this particular location. Nonetheless, Marv ‘n I decided to stop and try it out one day.

To be honest, I wasn’t really expecting much when we entered the restaurant, so we were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was inside. The place is Korean owned and is fairly small.
The menu had the usual items along with some specialty rolls. We decided to get something from each section.
First up was the Agedashi Tofu. It looks really good doesn’t it? The outside layer was very gummy, I had a hard time biting it apart. The sauce was also quite thick so it coated each piece as you dipped it.
Next up was the Awesome Roll. This was your average california roll with salmon on top. It was also covered with crispy yam pieces.
And I decided to try their Chicken Yakiudon. This was a generous portion. I enjoyed how the chicken was on the bottom of the plate. When eaten separately, the chicken had a nice bbq grilled taste to it. We thoroughly enjoyed this dish. Above right i the Toro Nigiri. Of course we can’t go anywhere without ordering anything toro! lol! It was quite fresh.
Marv decided to be adventurous and ordered a party tray! Yes.. you read that correctly, a party tray on top of the rest of our food. Did I also mention it was only the 2 of us eating?? lol! Anyways, this tray consisted of a tuna roll, salmon roll, kappa roll, spicy tuna roll, california roll, house roll and an alaskan roll.
Did we finish everything?? We did pretty good! We had a few of the rolls leftover, but finished the rest! Overall, I enjoyed the food here. We liked how there wasn’t a huge abundance of rice on the inside/outside of each roll, so we didn’t get full up on rice itself. We’ll definitely be back for another visit.
