Lepp Farm Market

On our way to a tiny little kitchen, we stopped by a local farmers market that offers aged beef. And knowing me and desire for aged beef we took the opportunity to stop by and have a gander.

Lepp Farm Market
33955 Clayburn Road, Abbotsford BC
Tel#:  (604) 851-5377

Upon parking we quickly realized that this place was very nice and well kept. Not like many other places with gravel all over and dirt roads. I hate driving over anything not paved. So I usually avoid anything but city streets. ANYWHO – Once we got closer to the door there was an aroma of freshly baked goodies. I couldn’t tell if it was pizza or chicken. So naturally after going thru the whole store, and yes they do have beautifully aged beef!! We finally made our way to the deli counter.
On the counter was this water dispenser and it was filled with a ton of ice and yes, those red things are strawberries! It added a good flavor to the water and I enjoyed it very much.

No it wasn’t pizza. Roasted chicken and pulled pork sandwiches were all available. Colleen immediately noticed the big tray of mac and cheese available and so we grab a 16 oz cup portion. It is not your typical version of smothered cheddar and overpowering flavors but it was nice and subtle, well balanced.

And I went with their HST panini. No tax was being added to this item. lol. It has some pastrami/ red peppers/ a pesto of sorts and havarti cheese. It was delicious. a tad bit on the salty side but the whole thing was delicious. It’s a repeat for me for sure.

Carrot cake. Normally I don’t like carrot cakes but this sucker was moist! SO yummy! Too much frosting for me but man it was fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to try the other baked goodies available too.

Overall our experience here was delightful. This will definitely be a repeat as I have found my glorious aged beef at a decent price. And not to mention the fruits and veggies available are top knot fresh and the staff here are ubber friendly and helpful.

Cool, I’ve heard great things about this place too. I’ll swing by next time I go out to Abbotsford for cheap gas =)
