We are back from Las Vegas and in dire need of some chinese food! 🙂 My brother asked us to come out for breakfast, so we ended up at Venice Garden. Actually, we tend to come here a lot on the weekends as it’s close by. Plus I can stop by at T&T afterwards and do some grocery shopping!
Marv decided to order a Sticky Rice Wrap. This was a giant one! It was sitting in a pool of soy sauce. I was a bit worried that it might get too salty, but surprisingly it was not. The rice was sticky and it was filled with beans and some pork. I enjoyed this very much and will order it for myself next time! 🙂
Marv also ordered his usual Assorted Meat Congee and a Chinese Doughnut.
Steph decided to get a Club Sandwich. This came with fries. The sandwich was quite good. I’m always a bit weary when ordering sandwiches from chinese restaurants, but I enjoyed this one. My brother ordered the Satay Beef Rice Fried Rice Noodle. This had a nice amount of beef, the sauce was not as peppery as we’re used to.
I decided to get the Shredded Chicken with Bean Sprouts Chow Mein. I have been wanting to eat this for a while now. I found it to be a bit bland, but I ended up using a lot of hot sauce to give it some flavour.
