We arrived early into downtown on a weekday and decided to take a nice stroll along Robson. I was already feeling the need for a coffee this morning, so after a few blocks, I decided on trying out Bread Garden as I have never ever been to one before.

I’m going to assume that this place has been renovated since it changed from Bread Garden to BG Urban Cafe. It’s actually quite spacious inside, with plenty of tables and couches for you to relax in. Unfortunately, the couches were much too soft for us, we sunk in completely, making it a hard workout just to get back to standing position lol!
I decided to give their Iced Mocha a try. It had a nice blend of chocolate and coffee, it was neither too sweet nor too bitter. I enjoyed this drink and wished I had ordered a bigger one! 🙂
Marv ‘n I decided to share a Beef Samosa as we didn’t want to get full before lunch. In the display case, the samosas were very plump, which we thought would be enough to share, but the server ended up putting it through the panini press and squished it pretty flat! It was pretty dry and didn’t have enough dipping sauce. Next time I think I’ll skip on the food here and go with a drink only.
