My mom and I ate here when we first moved into our house in Richmond years ago and well, we didn’t like it then and years later, I still don’t like it now. I was hoping that things would’ve changed since my first visit, but I came out as disappointed as the last time.

The place was empty as usual. I don’t really know how this place manages to have stayed opened for so long. I guess people do eat here during office lunch hours or what not.
Colleen wanted to try out their banh mi sandwich and it was a “special” as pictured on the wall over there. I didn’t really care for the sandwich, it was kinda dry and had very little filling to it.
As usual, Colleen orders a simple rare beef noodle soup….and I’d like to point out that this order is a LARGE for them, the noodles I grabbed from the bowl with my chopsticks is pretty much all there is to it. This place is stingy with their portions. As far as the taste goes, it has a very chinese broth taste to it.
And I myself wanted to try something different and well, I went with a beef stew of sorts, this was terrible too. Look at the egg noodle, i’ts chinese wonton noodle….and well, all that noodle from my chopsticks is yes, all that was in there…and this was also a large….I hate this place. I was so tempted to go across to church’s chicken and finish my lunch.
Overall I will never come back here ever again and I already told my mom about how crappy this place is still is from since then till now.
