Here we are at Flo Tea Room on Granville again. I like how this place isn’t soley a drinks place, but it also has decent food too. This time around, we were here for dinner #2. We had already had our first dinner at Marvs house. 🙂
So I had a really big craving for Taro Slush with Pearls and upon hearing that, Marv wanted one for himself as well! After enough times in the past of sharing a drink with him, I’ve learned that you can NEVER share a drink with Marv unless you plan on only taking a small sip haha. It’ll be all gone by the time you get to it again! This version here was a bit too icy for my taste, made it too watered down. On the right is their Prime Rib with Spaghetti. Marv found it to be pretty tasty and had wished he went with the baked potato instead of the spaghetti. Surprisingly it was a 12 oz prime rib for only $16.
And I was looking for some sort of noodle soup dish and settled on the Beef Brisket Noodle Soup. The good thing about this is that they give you a lot of beef brisket pieces, however it was far too tough and chewy. The broth wasn’t strong in flavour, I didn’t enjoy this dish too much.
Overall, generally we enjoy stopping here for a quick drink/casual bite to eat. There are some hits/misses with their dishes, I’ll have to pick more carefully next time. 🙂
