I woke up really early on a Sunday and my stomache was grumbling. Breakfast! My stomache was telling me to go eat breakfast, so I woke up Marv with my ‘breakfast’ chant! It worked! He was on board with breakfast 🙂 So we were both busily typing away on our phones looking for a place to go to when I finally decided to head on over to Tom & Jerry’s since it was fairly close by(and I was really really hungry by then!)

We had tried to come here for dinner 1 time, but the place was jam packed! People were waiting inside, outside…we just didn’t want to wait. This time, the place was almost empty, quite a night and day difference. Their menu has a bit of everything, butter chicken, jambalaya, steak, teriyaki bowl, etc. I guess they’re trying to have an option for everyone.
Marv decided to go with the Corned Beef Hash. It came with potatoes, peppers, onions, corned beef, eggs and toast! It’s quite a generous portion for the price. We were both nicely surprised at how good it tasted as well! It wasn’t overly salty, and the eggs were done well.
And I decided to go with the Farmers Frittata. This is their 3 egg omelette with peppers, tomatoes, onions, sausage and potatoes. If it couldn’t get any better, it was topped with cheese and baked! This might not look filling, but I couldn’t finish this. I managed to get it down to 2 bites left, but I wasn’t able to finish it off. This was crispy around the edges and soft towards the center.
Overall, we both enjoyed our meals here. This definitely felt a lot less greasy than dining at the usual breakfast spots. Service was friendly and attentive. As many cups of coffee as I drink, they refilled it quite quickly without any requests. I think we’ve found our new favourite breakfast joint! 🙂
