My brother asked me if I wanted to join them in Chinatown for breakfast, does he even need to ask?? Yes, of course I’ll go! I already knew we would be heading to The Boss Bakery since that’s the usual spot to head to after his hair cut. I told Marv it was a surprise where we were heading to, but he already knew my intentions! Smart boy..
Above left is the Iced Coffee. My brother doesn’t like to drink anything hot, so he went with the iced coffee. It was still early for me, so I went with the above right, Hot HK Style Coffee. This was a nice start to the day.
My brother ordered the breakfast set A+B. The meat & noodle items are changeable, my brother got the Satay Beef with Rice Noodle & Eggs with Bacon. These were pretty standard, I noticed a lot of the older customers would just order 1 part of the set meal. I guess that was enough food for them. I know I’d definitely need both parts.. 🙂
Above left is my sis-in-laws dish. Black Pepper Beef Chow Mein. This is her absolute favourite dish to order here! The noodles MUST be crispy, as that’s the way she likes it. If the noodles are soggy, then that portion is mine! haha, I love my soggy noodles! To the right is the Club Spaghetti Tomato Sauce. Originally Marv was going to order the same thing as me, but my sis-in-law told him the Club Spaghetti comes with ham, egg and chicken! More meat?? SOLD!
And I went with the Chicken with Spaghetti Tomato Sauce. I don’t know why, but I look forward to eating this dish all the time! This is definitely something that I would come back to Chinatown for again. If anyone needs a dining partner at The Boss, I’m in!!
