After spotting this dessert place across the street from Between Two Buns, we headed over to decide which desserts to snack on.
Marv wasn’t too interested so he went around snapping photos of the place while I stood in front of the display trying to decide what to order. I didn’t even notice any of these figures/models until after we paid! Guess you could see where my focus really was.
But can you blame me?? I mean, look at the display counter! I was only allowed to pick one, so I really had to make my choice count! If only we didn’t have brunch and a sandwich before hand.. I might’ve wanted to get 1 of each item!
Finally, after staring at each item and making Marv lose his patience, Rose and I decided on 1 item each. I love how they were individually packed. I felt like I was opening a gift when I went to dig into mine 🙂
To the left is the Goyave et Fraises. Okay, I know my french isn’t that great either, but from what I gathered, it was going to taste like strawberries. This dessert was light in texture but heavy on the flavour. It wasn’t overly sweet which we really enjoyed. To the right is the Caramel-Chocolat. Yes, looking from the picture, this was going to be sweet. But that’s exactly what I was looking for. This was a milk chocolate caramel mousse with a hazelnut crisp. It was indeed a rich dessert, and we weren’t even able to finish it all!
Overall, we enjoyed the 2 items we purchased here and will definitely be back again to try out other items in the shop. I mean, I only did get through 2 out of the entire counter display right? 🙂
