Everytime we drive by this restaurant, the parking lot and streets are packed with cars. This definitely peaked my interest since it’s close to home and I really wanted to stop by to try their dim sum. Finally that day has come!

The place is quite big, so you’d think snagging a table would be easy, but actually we arrived there at 10am and there was only a couple of tables left!
Luckily, we snagged up a table and our tea arrived to the table before we did. Once I sat down, I noticed my plate was a bit dirty. It was stuck on there pretty good.
We seem to always order the same dishes whenever we head to dim sum. The first to arrive to the table was the Shrimp Spring Rolls. These were not oily and had a nice crispy skin. The shrimp had a nice crunch to it as well. To the right is the Beef Rice Roll. I always ask for extra sauce since there never seems to be enough. I enjoy drowning each piece.
To the left is Marvs favourite(as a kid), the Beef Balls. These felt like the standard beef balls, nothing spectacular, yet nothing bad either. To the right is the Shrimp Dumplings. What dim sum meal is complete with it? I’m a sucker for any dumpling wrapper really.
Above left is another dumpling that caught my eye. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize Marv wouldn’t be touching this dish as he’s not a fan of it, so I had to finish off all 3 pieces. It wasn’t too hard since it was actually done quite nicely. To the right is the Beef Tripe. It was not overly chewy and had quite a few pieces to it.
Overall, we enjoyed our meal here, the service is prompt and attentive. Our teapot was refilled even before we had to flag anyone down or before we lifted up the teapot lid.
