I’ve only gone to Joeys a couple of times in the past, but it’s definitely been awhile since the last time. Having driven past this location several times, Will and I decided to head there for dinner one night. Okay, I didn’t notice when I took the picture, but the illuminated woman in the glimpse of the washroom is kinda eerie!

I ended up parking in the underground parking lot and tried to find my way to Joeys from there. I ended up outside of Winners and then lost my sense of direction haha! Will eventually had to come find me outside of Winners and lead me to the restaurant…which ended up only being a bit further down 1 area where I walked… oops! Thanks for finding me lol!
The restaurant is very dimly lit inside…I’ll apologize now for how some of the photos turned out…:(
Will started off with the Gin and Tonic and I opted for the Iced Tea.
The drink had a bit of slush which was different than other places. We thought the slush made the drink taste better. Will enjoyed this drink as they did not skimp on the gin! He sure loves his drinks strong lol!
As for our meal, Will went with the Rotisserie Chicken. (I know..you can’t even tell it’s chicken, but I’ll take better pics next time!)
This was served with mashed potatoes, vegetables and sundried tomato gravy. The mashed potatoes were soft and fluffy. As for the chicken, well the menu stated it would be ‘the most succulent chicken you’ve ever tasted.’ Well…that’s quite a bold statement! And was it really the most succulent chicken we’ve ever tasted?? Well, Will would say yes! lol! The skin of the chicken is a bit salty, but the meat was very moist and delicious. This is his signature dish to order whenever he comes to Joeys.
I had the hardest time deciding between this or the Lobster Grilled Cheese, but I ended up ordering the Ahi Tuna Club.
This grilled rare tuna loin came with smoked bacon, red pepper relish, arugula and 2 onion rings served with fries on the side. I found this dish to be extremely filling! Look at all the shoestring fries they give you and the size of the sandwich! The tuna was nicely done and the onion rings were crispy, I like crispy onion rings.
Overall, we both enjoyed our dining experience at Joeys. I think it would’ve been better if we got a window seat, the city lights would’ve looked really nice. (Okay fine… I just enjoy looking at city lights.)

Try the chicken & ribs combo – always satisfying and guttural-noise yummy.
I was looking at that too! It was kinda hard to decide on what to get, there was a few dishes that I wanted to try. Looks like I’m gonna have to revisit a couple more times 🙂
thats a lot of meat…. aahaha
When you go to Joey’s you have to order their salmon. It is the best I have ever tasted in any restaurant. It is grilled perfectly each time and is never cooked well-done, so it is always moist and so delicious.
Thanks for the recommendation Jesse! Marvs always looking for a good salmon dish…will definitely try it out next visit 🙂
