Fraser Park Restaurant Revisit #3

March 15, 2011 6:00 am / 7 Comments / 604munchies

What??  Another visit to Fraser Park already??  LOL, yes, I know.. this is the 3rd visit within a month of our 1st visit! 🙂  (To read about our first and second visit, click visit#1 and visit#2) This time is different though, we were privileged to be meeting up with Food For Buddha for lunch!! =D  Was I nervous??   Y-E-S!! lol =)   Both BB and BG are very friendly, down to earth people.  I immediately felt comfortable after the usual introductions =)

Anton brought over some Mac ‘n Cheese to sample!  Sorry BG, I know you can’t eat beef 🙁  …so cover your eyes for this part lol! This was yummy, but a tad oily.   It’s no secret that I’m a mac ‘n cheese fanatic, this was quite tasty!  I had to steal Marvs share too lol! 🙂

BB ordered the French Toast and Langonisa.  He gave some to us to try and I particularly enjoyed the french toast!  I only had a bite since Marv devoured the rest of the piece..(not hungry ‘eh Marv?? lol!)

Next was the Hamburger(above left).   BB also shared 1/2 of this with Marv.   HEY!!  Now that I think about it…BB didn’t even eat anything!!  Grrr…I see where all this sharing is going  lol! 🙂    Above right is the Broccoli Soup. This was very creamy.   I enjoy thick cream soups and this was one of them!  I think I’ll start subbing for soup from now on at Fraser Park lol!

Well, I again had to get the Beef Dip. I can’t help it, the au jus is just so tasty!!  Maybe I should order something else next time and just get a side of the sauce to dip lol! =)  The beef was a tad dry again, but I wolfed down this sandwich quite quickly with the sauce dripping off my fingers/mouth..what a great impression lol! 🙂   I didn’t take a picture of the coffee, but I must’ve downed 7 cups of coffee this morning!   They have a Hazelnut blend which I found to be extremely addicting!   Y’all must think I’m a caffeine nut lolol 🙂

Anton also gave us some Garlic Bread and Biscotti.   I was already so full, so I only had a couple bites of this.   Marv ended up finishing it all!  Jeez, talk about sharing with our company!   lol  Sorry BB and BG, it was awesome meeting you both! Next time it’s on us! =D

It was nice meeting you both. I agree that the mac was on the oily side and a bit softer than I’m used to. I had some good snack food later that day.

It was alright, the soup is always good! Make sure you try it out if you make a visit =] Marv found the beef a bit hard, but the au jus is always a winner in my books!! Watch out for our homemade beef dip post coming up in a bit.. =)
