Marv was craving Pho, so I decided to take him to Pho 99! I had decided on this place cause along with pho, I can also get a HK style milk tea! He was pretty reluctant to try this place, but since I was driving this time, he had no choice =)

What I first noticed when we walked in was the decorations around the booths. It was also pretty clean, so it made it a lot more comfortable to dine in.
On the wall, there’s a poster showing you what some of the dishes look like. I don’t know about you, but if a picture looks pretty appetizing, it makes me want to order it! That’s what this poster did for us!
Our meals came with drinks, Marv decided to get the Lemonade, this turned out to be carbonated. It was actually quite refreshing! I went with the Iced Milk Tea. This was quite sweet, but I thought it was super tasty! I almost wanted another one after I finished it off 🙂
Marv decided to order the #18 – Noodle Soup with Eye Round Steak, Soft Tendon and Beef Tripe. This was just alright and a bit on the small side.
Since he went with a combo, he also chose Chicken Wings as his side order. He thought it was pretty good and crispy! A nice addition to his bowl of pho.
And I decided to get #66 – Marinated Grilled Chicken, 2 Fried Spring Rolls and Soup. I thought it was a pretty large portion. The chicken was juicy and flavourful. The spring rolls were a bit of a miss. I would’ve preferred it more if it was authentic and wrapped in rice paper.
This is pretty much my go-to place for pho! What I like most about it, is that it comes with a drink if you order it within their combo(which roughly works out to be about the same price of a bowl of pho at another place.) I also like how you can have a variety of things along with your bowl of pho(like chicken wings!)
Annnd, now the most important question, did Marv like it here?? Y-E-S!! Lol, I’ve changed his mind on yet another restaurant!! I’m on a roll! =D
