After dinner, we decided to head over to Aoyama for coffee and dessert. Marv ‘n I visited Aoyama for the first time back in December. Click here to check out the post on our first visit! It’s quite a relaxing environment. The seats are pretty comfortable and you aren’t feeling rushed to get out of the place.
Marv decided to go with the Sumiyaki Iced Coffee shown above left. This was a very strong blend, too strong for my liking, however Marv thoroughly enjoyed this after he poured in the sugar :p I went with the Hazelnut Coffee shown above right. Pretty much anything with hazelnut would be something that I enjoy and this was no exception. It was light and not too sweet.
We decided to share the Fruit Crepe. This consisted of a double scoop of vanilla ice cream wrapped by a crepe with fruits on the side. Portion of the ice cream/crepe was quite generous.
The pictures showed pineapples. This did not have pineapples. Marv ended up eating all the fruit since he can’t eat ice cream, so I had the honor of the 2 ice cream crepes. The strawberry syrup was much too sweet. The ice cream held it’s shape and did not melt away, which is a plus. The crepe however, did not taste fresh and it was not warm. I did enjoy this more than the parfait I had the last time though, but it might be because this time I was able to eat it, rather than drink the ice cream :p
