I’ve eaten at this establishment so many times and the quality and standards have always been maintained properly. Not much to say since it’s hotpot but the service today was excellent. Mainly because there were only 3 tables occupied inside. Lol! Eldon, Kevin W. and I are treating Tony to dinner tonight, so he better eat more than he can handle!
The inside is very nicely decorated. The tables are well spaced apart so it doesn’t feel cramp inside.
They serve (included in the price) plum juice, which is a nice addition to hotpot. Our soup base was the spicy szechuan and the satay style. To be honest, both the broths weren’t as strong as they could have been. Kinda bland really.
The one thing I really like about this place is that they offer the sauce tray! Basically you get to choose a whole bunch of other sauce mixtures than your norm.
So, I chose a combo of satay/peanut/soy/cilantro and green onions for my sauce mix. And just as we all got our sauces done, one by one our stuff came. First was the meats of course, beef and lamb.
Sliced pork here, and on the other side we got fish slices and some meat balls.
Here’s some tofu/beef brisket/pig skin/tripe/rice cakes/frozen tofu/siu mai and wontons.
And they also have deep fried fish skin and for dessert, they offer a house mix of sweet hot red bean soup.
Tonight’s dinner was nice and relaxing. We were all so full that we wanted to sleep half way thru our meal lol. Thanks again for having the patience with me taking the pix and stuff. Much appreciated!
