It’s no secret that I love desserts, so after dinner at Koi, we decided to head over to Adonia! I had been wanting to visit Adonia for quite some time now and am glad the girls agreed to accompany me here today. I was worried it might be busy as the place is quite small, and it was a friday night. Luckily we were able to snag a table once we arrived.

I was thinking there’d be a wait when we arrived on a friday night, but luckily we were able to get a table right away. The place is quite dim, but very quaintly decorated. The place felt homey and quite cozy.
We each decided on a pot of tea. Left to right; Chai Tea, Peach Tea and a fruit Green Tea. The Peach Tea was pretty sweet, almost tasted like juice. My Chai tea was extremely fragrant, I liked it the most.
We each decided on a different dessert to share. First up was the Granita. I’m not sure why the picture made it white, but this was all pink! It was shaved ice with seasonal fruits. It ended up being strawberry flavoured, hence why it was pink. Above left is the Peach Crepe. The peach was a great choice! Each bite had a nice mix of peach and whipped cream with the crepe wrap. I thoroughly enjoyed this plate.
Next was the Chocolate Souffle. This took a bit longer to get to our table as it had to be baked. I was thinking this would be quite sweet and dense but surprisingly it was light and quite fluffy. We also ordered the Pannecotta, but unfortunately the picture didn’t turn out. The custard was nice and smooth, but the jam used on the outside was much too sweet for my liking.
Overall, dessert was a hit! Yes, I know, it’s always a hit with me! :p The servers were very attentive in refilling our pots of tea and offered helpful suggestions on what to order. I will definitely be back to try their Afternoon Tea menu! 🙂

***UPDATE: I attempted to return to Adonia to try their Afternoon Tea however even though I had made a reservation 1 week in advance. I even had a call back to confirm my reservation, HOWEVER once we arrived there, we were told there was no reservation under my name and they were fully booked for the evening and asked if we would like to make ANOTHER reservation. We’ve complained to Adonia, but have yet to receive a reply. This has definitely left a sour note in our mouth.***
