Once again we are at our regular noodle place, Lao Shan Dong and this time we got something different to try out.
Up top Colleen tried out an order of their noodles with slice pork and mustard greens, its very light in terms of the taste itself. The broth was rather bland and the dish felt lacking.
I wouldn’t order this again since this ended up being my meal in the end.
And this is my regular item to order, the beef noodle soup with brisket and tendons. For some reason today, the brisket was overly dry and hard to chew (I think maybe I got old leftovers) but the tendons were very nice and tender. As portion wise goes this was all devoured by Colleen as she didn’t want her other order and took over mine as quickly as she could. hahahaa
We also ordered our beloved dumplings. Same taste as always, no complaints. And yes, I did count the pieces once again as we were cheated last time. JUST IN CASE!
Overall dinner was the same, it was hot inside with the drinking of the soup and the lack of air conditioning but we will eat here more often once the colder climate sets into Vancouver.
