It’s a nice sunday afternooon to go shopping in downtown so off we went. I really was heading only for the Bay because they were having a sale on g-shocks in which I ended up buying a few. I also headed to the comic store to browse and so on…..being nearly done and exiting Tom Lee music we decided to try Chronic Tacos which was across the street.

I’ve seen this franchise place a few times already but have never gone in to try so this was kinda exciting and new at the same time. I have had a real craving for Mexican spices as of late.
The interior was pretty nice, a good place to chill and hang out at night I guess, not my scene anymore. lol We had to go into the restaurant and order from the back area and it was rather confusing at first what with all the choices but I ended up deciding on a Beef Burrito. To my surprise, it was gigantic. It was pretty good, tasty and filling. Of course I loaded up on the hot sauce but who wouldn’t??
Colleen opted for the pork soft shelled taco, there was nothing really special to it just a ton of vegetables with a small amount of meat.
Colleen also wanted to try out a potato taco. This is a basic deep fried potato with cheese filling for the taco. ‘DELICIOUS.. what part of that description doesn’t scream YUM?!’ quote by Colleen ahahahahaa
Overall our experience was mediocre. It wasn’t super good and it wasn’t super bad, just a normal fast food kinda joint. Would I really go back and eat here again, sure why not. You just have to order the right things, LOL!

Try the pollo asado … YUM. And they add so much guac! (although, you have to pay $1.50 for it!!)
