We were on the way to watch a movie, but since we would be too early(as usual), we decided to stop to get a bite for lunch. We pulled into a plaza and couldn’t decide between all the restaurants there. Fast food? Japanese? Greek? ABC country? We ended up just parking in the middle of the parking lot and headed towards the small Japanese restaurant. But out of the corner of our eye, we spotted Kefi! Since neither of us had been there, we decided to change our minds and headed towards Kefi instead.

The restaurant was empty when we arrived, and the place was bordering being freezing cold. I ended up having to keep my jacket on for the entire meal. Despite the place being empty, they were busy pushing tables together, I guess they were setting up for a big party later in the afternoon.
With both of our meal choices, we both received a cup of the soup of the day. It was heart, warm and the beans/tomato base was pretty tasty. It came out piping hot, which was good as it helped warm us up.
For Marvs meal, he went with 1 of the lunch specials. It was a sandwich with chicken, feta, dates and jam for the filling. This was simple, he found it to have nothing special to it. This of course did not fill Marv up.
And I went with the Chicken Souvlaki. I found everything to be sectioned off on the plate, it made it look less full than it really was. The chicken was on the dry side and the rice was bland. The salad on the other hand was fresh and had crisp vegetables.
Overall, we found the food to either to be a hit or a miss. Nothing was good enough to make us want to come back so far for another visit. Perhaps we should’ve ventured to the japanese restaurant afterall.
