After work and no battery left on our camera we headed down to our neighborhood boston pizza. I’m starting to hate this new camera of ours simply because its been giving us more of a headache than good pictures. So we might switch back to our older ones…………………….anyways, tonight’s pictures are brought to you via blackberry.
We were still early enough to catch into their happy hour where their appy menu is like a dollar cheaper so we ordered a couple of things from that menu. For starters we grabbed a dry rib dish, consisted of pork of course but boy was it ever dry and really no meat to it at all. Disappointed. Next to it is Colleen’s all time favourite!!!!!!! Potatoes!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, deep fried with a spicy mayo sauce. They call it the cactus cut potatoes…I don’t get the name….what exactly makes it look like a cactus?
Here is my order for the night (also go on pasta tuesdays) a heaping portion (or so they claim) of their house spaghetti with meat balls. Again, I’m confused as to the heaping part of it. A hump maybe, but no way heaping. The pasta was over cooked and the meatballs were rather boring and bland. I probably won’t ever this again since its just so misrepresented. Colleen ordered a bacon chipotle penne baked dish. I didn’t really care for it either, just a lot of cheese and not the good kind. I honestly don’t think the kitchen was firing on all cylinders that night and well, what can you do. Oh yeah, write a blog about it…………………..
All in all our dinner was so-so, full of disappointments and misinterpreted items of literature.
