Ahh…. The One Restaurant with the gigantic slush bubble teas and beef noodle soup?! You don’t have to ask me twice to come here, I’d already be out the door before you finish the sentence! 🙂 On this particular visit, Marvs sis is joining us as well.
First to arrive to the table is my Pudding Milk Tea with Pearls. You must be thinking why I didn’t order a gigantic slush since I was raving about it earlier? I was actually debating it, but didn’t want to deal with scooping it into another cup and was really really thirsty! So I went with another favourite of mine. They combined pudding chunks along with pearls is what I really enjoy. It’s like 2 in 1! Marv went with Watermelon Juice with Pearls. He was a bit disappointed in this drink since he finished it off really quickly. After perusing the menu afterwards, he realized he should’ve went with the watermelon slush instead. There’s always next time 🙂
Marv decided to order the Taro Slush with Pearls for his sister. Yes, that is indeed Marvs empty watermelon juice cup beside it! We find that the taro slush that forms the tower above the cup is pretty bland as it’s mainly ice. To the right is the Taiwanese Gyoza. Although it looks pretty small, this was actually quite tasty. The aroma was what made me want to dig in right away, but it was much too hot. This is something I’d order again, but again, dumplings are another favourite of mine.
Another table had ordered this, and Marv instantly wanted to order it as well. This is the Chicken Nugget Fried Rice. They give you a pretty generous portion, with a decent amount of chicken nuggets. And of course, I wanted more dumplings! So I went with the Dumplings with Noodle Soup. There’s actually quite a bit of dumplings and noodles in this dish. The broth is the same as their Beef noodle soup which made it quite nice. I was already quite full from my drink and order of dumplings that I could not finish this.
Overall, we enjoyed our meal here, and service is pretty attentive. Parking can be a bit tough once the lot gets full, but there’s parking on the side streets available. Pricewise it’s pretty fair as the portions are fairly big.
