Potters Garden

November 5, 2012 6:00 am / Leave a Comment / 604munchies

We were both feeling pretty hungry after work one day and I was really craving Korean food so Marv ‘n I decided to head to Potters Garden since we had a good experience the last time.

The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived, but then again we got there before 5:30pm.  At first we were seated at a smaller table for 4 people.  Notice how close Marv and I are at the table?  After we placed our order, they decided to move us over to a HUGE table!  I guess in hindsight it was a LOT of food!

Haha, didn’t I say our table was huge?  Now that’s how far Marv is from me across the table!  First few things to arrive were the meats for the bbq, lettuce and rice.  This was a set dinner combo for 3-4 people, we were both glad that they didn’t skimp out on the portions just because there was only the 2 of us eating.

Our table started filling up with food really quickly!  The noodles on the bottom left needed to be eaten right away.  We actually didn’t really touch it till later on, but by then the noodles had already clumped together and didn’t want to come apart no matter how hard we tried.  The bottom right was a nice refreshing

The seafood pancake was nicely crisp and came out piping hot.  I never seem to have enough of the sauce, next time I must remember to ask for more.

Above left is the Beef Sashimi.  We thought it was a bit odd to have this with our meal, but nonetheless, we thoroughly enjoyed it.  In case you haven’t eaten this dish before, we were told to mix the egg with the beef and then eat it.  Our server helped us with the mixing of this dish.  Above right is the Steamed Dumplings.  I love any sort of dumplings, so this was good in my books.

As of this wasn’t enough, above left is the Tofu Soup.  There was a ton of tofu used in this dish, definitely not enough for the both of us.  Above right is what our table looked like!  The restaurant did start to fill up as time went on, and I could feel everyone staring at the 2 of us when they saw us and our table.

I guess you’re wondering whether or not we finished everything??  YES WE DID..except for 2 bites of the noodles.  Haha, guess we were really hungry that day!  Overall we enjoyed our meal here again and the service was pretty attentive.  We’ll definitely be back again!
