Oh Bubble Tea, reminds me of my high school days when the thing to do was to hang out for hours drinking bubble tea and munching on snacks. Every now and then, I like to relive it.
After dinner, our friends and us made our way to BBT Cafe in Kerrisdale. We ended up choosing this place because it was pretty close to where we had dinner. Since we weren’t stuffed, we decided to get a couple of snacks to munch on. Belinda and I both chose the Meat Sauce on Rice above left. I would’ve preferred more meat sauce as it barely coated the rice. To the right is Edwins order, the Chicken Nuggets. These were seasoned well.
Next up, Marv went with a noodle dish…a noodle dish after his Roast Lamb entree at a Greek restaurant, and also finishing off 3/4 of my entree! I’m impressed! Marv said the soup was quite bland and didn’t quite satisfy him. To the right, Kevin ordered the Spring Rolls. It was a bit smaller than expected, but it was decent.
Our drinks came last and it all came in a plastic cup which I appreciated since I knew I wouldn’t be able to finish it during the time we were there. Unfortunately I would’ve liked to sip my drink whilst eating our snacks.
Overall, BBT Cafe is decent at what it does. The drinks aren’t too sweet and the pearls were chewy. It’s not a place that I would specifically make my way there for, but if I’m in the area, I’d stop by again.
